The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, a private nonprofit
organization, was founded in 1983 with the belief that low-income
people could build their assets and gain long-term economic stability
if they could be connected to institutions and people with capital
resources and the willingness to share them. Since then, the Loan Fund
has provided more than $93 million in loans, leveraging more than $321
million, to help low- and moderate-income families in New Hampshire
secure affordable, quality housing, create and develop jobs, and
support essential community institutions like child care centers. more
